Introduced in 1892, the HAC is the first bag Hermès ever made. It was designed for equestrian use, built to carry a rider's saddle and boots.
Its structure and straps directly inspired the Birkin, introduced by Hermès nearly a century later. Today the HAC is prized by collectors and used primarily as a high-end travel bag, carry-on, or luxury weekender, favored for its deep base and its room for laptops, documents, and a few days' worth of clothing.
This one is Togo leather in Etoupe, a grained calfskin known for its durability and scratch resistance, in one of the house's most versatile neutrals. Hardware is palladium.
Brand new for 2026, unworn, pristine condition. Includes box, dust bag, lock, keys, clochette, and paper bag, with protective stickers still intact. Complete.
