Hermès Gachette Marron Foncé Crocodile — 1962
Beautiful 1962 Hermès Gachette in marron foncé crocodile with gilded hardware. Gachette is French for "trigger." A rare collector's piece, it closes with a squeeze-insert clasp, and a strap on gilded fittings carries it on the shoulder. The interior is lined in agneau (lambskin).
Gently worn to excellent vintage condition, with marks and micro scratches to the gilded hardware, patina showing on the squeeze clasp, light scuffing to the crocodile where the clasp inserts, and wear to the agneau lining on the flap where it is held to open.
